No. Use our template to position your artwork correctly, but remove any guides or crop marks for the business card slits before you submit your file. The template is for placement only, and those marks should not print.
- Do design against the template so the slit locations are accounted for.
- Do not leave slit guidelines, crop marks, or registration marks in the final art.
- Flatten your file and hide or delete the template layer before exporting.
- Export a clean, print-ready PDF with just your design.
Leaving guides in the file can cause stray lines to appear on the finished folder, so a clean export is the safest way to get the result you expect.
