What should I do if I can't sign in or create an account?
Most sign-in and sign-up failures come from an unverified email, a stale browser session, a small credential mismatch or a duplicate account. Try a few self-checks first; if they do not work, support can pinpoint and fix the account issue.
- Verify your email: an "account not verified" error means you need to click the verification link from 4OVER4; check spam if it is missing. This is the most common login block.
- Check credentials: confirm your email (it is your username) and password, with Caps Lock off, and use Forgot Password if unsure.
- Read the error: a password warning means it must meet the stated length and character rules; "email already in use" means the address may already have an account, so try login or password reset.
- Reset the browser: clear cache and cookies, use a private window with extensions disabled, or switch browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) or device. This also fixes most missing SMS verification code issues. Rebooting can clear a stuck session.
- Contact support: send the exact error text, the email you are using, your browser and device, and a screenshot if you can.
- Duplicate accounts: a duplicate tied to your email may block sign-up; support removes duplicates, troubleshoots, or creates the account from your name and email so you can log in and set your own password.
No phone number is needed to sign up, so registration does not depend on an SMS code. Chrome and Firefox are the recommended browsers. If the problem continues, support verifies your account, restores your access and can pass technical issues to the IT department.
