Question
Can I get double-sided printing for jar labels?
Answer
Most jar labels are printed on one side because the back of the material is the adhesive that bonds to the jar surface. The main exception involves clear stock:
- Opaque labels: front print only, since the back adheres to the jar.
- Clear film labels: a back print shows through the transparent material, creating a layered, printed-on-the-jar look that works well on glass.
- Two-label approach: for a true front-and-back design, place two separate labels on opposite sides of the jar.
If you want the design visible from both sides, clear stock or a two-label layout is the practical path, so pick your material accordingly before you finalize the artwork.
