What size are 4OVER4.COM CD Covers?

Our CD covers are sized to drop straight into a standard jewel case, so the finished insert lines up cleanly once it is folded and trimmed. The exact trim and bleed for your order are listed on the product page, and downloadable templates set the dimensions for you automatically.

• Front cover insert: roughly 4.75 in x 4.75 in finished, folded for a front and inside panel
• Tray (back) card: sized to sit under the disc tray, usually near 5.9 in x 4.6 in with the spine folds included
• Bleed: add about 0.125 in on every edge so nothing important gets cut off
• Templates: download the CD cover template first, then build your artwork on top of it

When in doubt, start from the template rather than an empty canvas. It keeps your trim, fold, and safe-zone guides in the right place from the beginning.
