What file formats are accepted for Acrylic Prints?
Answer
Acrylic printing accepts the common high-resolution formats, with PDF preferred for the crispest edges and text. Acrylic shows fine detail with almost no forgiveness, since the clear surface magnifies both sharpness and flaws, so resolution matters more than usual.
- Formats: print-ready PDF (preferred), TIFF, AI (vector), JPEG and PNG.
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum at the actual print dimensions.
- Color mode: CMYK.
- Logos and text: use vector art so edges stay razor sharp.
- Photos: start from the largest original you have, since low-res images look pixelated on acrylic.
- Template: download the product template first, include any required bleed and keep key content away from the edges.
EPS files are also accepted. Outline your fonts and embed any linked images before you export.
