Question
Can I print full-color images on Wonderfoil?
Answer
Yes. CMYK printing works on Wonderfoil, but the metallic base changes how colors appear, so design with that in mind.
- Darker, saturated colors print boldest and most true.
- Lighter tones let the metallic sheen show through for a dimensional effect.
- Pure whites read as the metallic base rather than opaque white, unless white ink is added.
- 4OVER4.COM provides a free digital proof so you can see the exact result before production.
