Question
Can 4OVER4 print UV coating on very small items like dominoes?
Answer
UV coating has a minimum size the equipment can handle, so very small items like dominoes fall below what the UV process can register. On pieces that tiny, UV is not feasible, but other finishes can still add protection and a bit of shine.
- Gloss lamination - a protective film that adds sheen at small sizes.
- Matte lamination - a soft, durable film without high glare.
Share the item dimensions with the 4OVER4 team and they will confirm whether UV fits or recommend the best small-format finish instead.
