Can you direct mail a die cut postcard?

A die-cut postcard cannot be mailed on its own. Because its shape does not meet automated mailing requirements, it needs to travel inside an envelope.

• Die-cut postcards are not eligible for direct mail as a bare piece.
• To mail one, insert it into an envelope first.
• If you want a mailable postcard, choose a standard rectangular size that meets USPS requirements.
