What size is the foldover business card-folded or unfolded?
Answer
The size shown on the product page is the finished folded size, meaning the card as your customer holds it after it is folded, not the flat unfolded sheet. That matters when you set up artwork.
- Finished (folded) size: the dimension listed in the calculator
- Flat (unfolded) size: roughly double the folded panel plus a small fold allowance
- Example: a 4" x 3.5" even fold finishes at 4" x 3.5" and opens up to 4" x 7"
- Artwork tip: design on the flat size using the product template, which shows the flat layout with the fold line, so you can lay out both panels correctly and keep important elements away from the fold
- Need exact numbers: contact support and we will confirm the unfolded measurement for your chosen fold size
