What are the page requirements for saddle-stitched booklets?

Saddle-stitched booklets are built in page-count increments because of how the binding works. Each sheet is folded in half and stapled at the spine, so every sheet adds pages in a set group and the total needs to land on a valid increment.

• Increment: pages are added in multiples of 4.
• A file may need to move up or down to the nearest valid count.
• Blank pages can be inserted to reach the required total.
• The cover counts toward the page total.
