A dieline is a flat outline template that shows exactly where a printed piece will be cut, folded, scored, or perforated. It acts as the blueprint that keeps custom shapes, folders, and packaging assembling correctly after printing.

• Cut lines mark the final trimmed edge of the piece.
• Fold and score lines show where the material bends.
• Perforation lines mark tear-away sections such as stubs or coupons.
• The dieline usually sits on its own layer so it can guide the artwork without printing.
