Question
Will my destination photos print accurately?
Answer
Color accuracy matters most for travel print, and a few file settings make the biggest difference in how your destination photos reproduce.
- Convert images to CMYK, since screens use RGB and print uses CMYK
- Export photos at 300 DPI for crisp detail
- Embed the color profile in your file
- Review the digital proof before production to catch shifts early
Expect slightly more muted tones on paper than on a bright screen. That shift is normal for CMYK printing.
