Question

Which shape works better for double-sided designs?

Answer

Both square and rounded corners print beautifully double-sided. The real difference is how you handle your margins. Rounded corners curve inward, so anything sitting near the edge can get clipped by the arc on either side. Square corners keep the full rectangle, giving you the maximum printable area front and back.

  • Square corners: largest usable area, ideal if you want content close to the edge on both sides.
  • Rounded corners: softer, modern look. Pull important text and logos slightly further in to clear the curve.
  • Keep key content inside a 0.25 in safe zone on both sides regardless of corner style.
  • Mirror your margins front and back so the trim looks intentional on both faces.
