What exactly is metallic printing?

Metallic printing uses a paper stock with a reflective, pearlescent surface in place of standard matte or gloss cardstock. The shimmer comes from the paper itself, not from an added foil.

Design with some open or light space if you want the metallic effect to be obvious, since heavy coverage hides it.
