Answer
A clean ticket is easy to read, easy to scan, and hard to counterfeit. Set up the file correctly, then build a hierarchy so the most important details jump out.
- File setup: 0.125 in bleed, CMYK color, and 300 DPI for sharp printing.
- Limit fonts: two typefaces maximum keeps it clean and legible.
- Lead with the event name: make it the largest element, then date, time, and venue.
- Add a scannable code: a QR code of at least 0.75 in makes entry management fast.
If you use a tear-off stub, keep the essential entry details on both halves so a torn ticket still works at the door.
