Question
How durable are printed aluminum adhesive foils outdoors?
Answer
Printed aluminum adhesive foils are built for the outdoors. The material resists UV fading, rain, and temperature swings, which makes it a strong choice for labels and decals that live outside.
- Most outdoor applications last roughly two to five years.
- Lifespan depends on how much direct sun the piece takes and the local climate.
- In harsh weather, these foils clearly outlast paper and most vinyl options.
| Factor | Effect on lifespan |
|---|---|
| Direct sun exposure | Heavy sun shortens the range |
| Climate and weather | Mild conditions extend it |
| Typical outdoor life | 2 to 5 years |
