Question
What file format should I use for aluminum foils artwork?
Answer
Submit aluminum foil artwork as a high-resolution vector or press-ready file so edges stay crisp and colors print predictably. Set the file up in CMYK at 300 DPI minimum with proper bleed.
- Accepted formats: PDF, AI, or EPS.
- Color mode: CMYK.
- Resolution: 300 DPI or higher.
- Bleed: 0.125" on all sides.
- To let the raw aluminum show through as a design element, leave those areas transparent or uncolored in the file.
