Do Metal Prints scratch easily?

Under normal use, metal prints are scratch resistant. Because dye sublimation embeds the image into the aluminum coating, there is no surface ink layer sitting on top that can flake or scrape away.

• Everyday contact like dusting or a passing brush against the surface will not mark the print.
• The image is protected within the coating rather than printed over it, which is what gives metal its durability.
• Sharp or hard objects dragged across the face can still leave a scratch, so handle with care.
• Take the most care during installation, when tools and hardware are near the surface.
