Raised spot UV works best on its own. Stacking it with foil stamping or embossing on the same piece can cause adhesion problems, so most designs are cleaner and more reliable when raised spot UV is the single specialty finish.

• Avoid: layering it directly over foil or embossed areas.
• Alternative texture: a glitter finish gives a different eye-catching, sparkly effect if you want something other than gloss.
