What is cold foil?

Cold foil applies a metallic foil using adhesive and UV curing right on the press, instead of the heated die used in traditional foil stamping. Because it runs inline, it opens up effects that hot stamping cannot easily achieve.

• Large areas: it can lay foil across broad regions, not just fine lines.
• Print over foil: full-color printing can go on top of the foil to create custom metallic shades.
• Inline process: adhesive plus UV curing means it happens during the print run, no separate die.
