Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) pieces travel through the standard USPS network, so the in-home window depends on how far your chosen carrier routes sit from the drop-off post office and how busy that facility is when your bundles arrive.

• Typical delivery lands 3 to 10 business days after you drop the bundles at the post office.
• Routes close to the drop-off location usually arrive on the faster end of that range.
• Drop off at least two weeks before an event or sale date so the mailing is in homes with room to spare.
• Holidays, severe weather, and peak mailing seasons can add a few extra days.
• Ask staff at your drop-off post office to confirm the expected start date for the routes you selected.

Because EDDM has no tracking on individual pieces, building in buffer time is the safest way to hit a campaign deadline.
