The safe zone is the inner area where nothing gets trimmed, so all critical content should live inside it. Keep text, logos, and key elements at least 0.3 cm in from the trim line on every side.
- Trim size: 8.9 x 5.1 cm (North American card).
- Safe zone: roughly 8.3 x 4.5 cm.
- Anything between the safe zone and the trim risks being clipped.
- Pair the safe zone with 0.3 cm of bleed on the outside for a clean finish.
