How do I know if my banner is too small for outdoor use?
Answer
The right banner size is a function of viewing distance. Measure roughly how far away most people will be when they see it, then size up so the message stays legible. A banner that reads fine up close can disappear from across a lot.

| 30 to 50 ft | 4' x 8' |
| 50 ft and beyond | Larger than 4' x 8' |
- Text height rule: about 1 inch of letter height per 10 feet of viewing distance.
- Favor bold fonts and high color contrast for outdoor readability.
- Keep the message short so the type can be large.
