Build the artwork at 300 dpi in CMYK at final size, add 0.125 in of bleed on all four sides so background color runs off the trim, and hold every logo, name, and line of type at least 0.25 in inside the trim. On a folded card, keep art and text 0.125 in clear of the score, because heavy stock shifts a little as it folds and a greeting sitting on the crease reads off center. Supply a print-ready PDF with fonts outlined. The free online proof is where a low-resolution photo or a missing bleed gets caught.

Gloss coating, pearl stock and photo layout
