Question
Why is my package taking longer to arrive than the shipping timeframe stated?
Answer
Posted shipping timeframes assume normal carrier operations. Holidays, weekends, and weather can add days that fall outside the stated transit window, which is why the live tracking scan is always the most accurate guide.
- Holiday closures: carriers like UPS do not run on certain dates such as New Year's, pushing delivery out by a day or more.
- Weekend gaps: ground services usually count business days only, so weekends do not count as transit days.
- Weather and volume: storms and peak-season backlog can slow the network beyond the quoted days.
Check your tracking link for the current estimated delivery date, and if a package stalls well past its window, contact support with the tracking number so the shipment can be investigated.
