Can I order custom printed items with just one side printed instead of both sides?
Answer
Yes, most print products can be produced single sided instead of double sided. In the trade this is written as 4/0, which means full color on the front (4) and nothing on the back (0), while 4/4 means full color on both sides.
- 4/0 - full color front, blank back. Common for flyers, signs, and simple handouts.
- 4/4 - full color on both sides. Common for business cards, postcards, and menus.
- 4/1 - full color front, single ink (usually black) on the back.
Choosing one sided usually lowers the price because less ink and setup are involved. Set the sidedness option before you check out and review the quote to confirm the cost.
