Question

Can I print newsletters with a fold?

Answer

Yes. Newsletters are commonly folded, and the fold you choose changes how the piece reads and mails.

FoldBest for
Bi-fold (single fold)Four panels, clean and simple, easy to skim
Tri-foldSix panels, good for sectioned content and self-mailers
Flat sheetMaximum reading area, often used for inserts

Folded newsletters are popular for direct mail because they are self-contained and can go out without an envelope. For longer content, a bound booklet format holds more pages.
