Question

What process do you use to print Floor Graphics?

Answer

Floor graphics are UV printed digitally on large format printers. The design is first printed onto 4mil white vinyl, then a 6mil clear overlaminate is applied on top to protect the ink and add slip resistance.

  • Print: UV inkjet on large format printers for crisp, durable color.
  • Base: 4mil white vinyl carries the artwork.
  • Overlaminate: an added 6mil clear layer seals the print and creates the anti-slip walking surface.

UV curing sets the ink instantly and helps it resist fading and scuffing better than untreated prints.
