What is the smallest font size I can use in my raised foil artwork?

We do not recommend fonts smaller than 10 pt on any Raised Foil artwork. The foil is applied with dimension, so very small or hairline type can break up or lose its edges. If you use fonts with thicker strokes or bold weights, they hold the foil better at smaller sizes.

• Minimum recommended text size: 10 pt.
• Bold and heavy-stroke fonts carry raised foil more reliably than thin, delicate ones.
• Avoid hairline serifs and ultra-light weights in the foil areas.
• Keeping type at 10 pt or larger protects legibility and clean foil edges.
