Question

How can I know that the flips on my 3D Lenticular prints will look fine?

Answer

There is no way to get an exact on-screen preview of how the final lenticular flip will print, since the effect only fully comes to life on the physical lens. That said, following a few guidelines gives you the best possible result.

  • Use frames with strong, clear differences so each flip reads distinctly
  • Keep the number of transition frames modest so each stays crisp
  • Avoid tiny text or fine detail in the areas that change during the flip
  • Build files at 300 DPI so the interlaced image stays sharp
  • When in doubt, our team can review your setup before it goes to print
