Can you do edge painting with Spot UV?
Answer
No. Edge Painted Business Cards are printed on 32-point uncoated cardstock, and Spot UV cannot be applied to uncoated paper. The uncoated surface will not hold the gloss coating the way a coated stock does.
- Edge painting stock: 32pt uncoated cardstock
- Spot UV: not available on uncoated paper
- If you want a raised or glossy accent, consider a coated product line that supports Spot UV instead.
