Cd Covers Printing Online
When people buy CDs in this age of iTunes and Pandora radio, they are usually specifically interested in the CD booklet and artwork on the disc, as much as they are in the music. This makes the company printing the booklets all the more important to record labels that want to sell their CDs. The right online printing company must be equipped to produce high quality CD booklets, as well as a variety of other custom printing projects.
The artwork and quality of the booklets in a CD case represent the band to fans and collectors. Generally the more fan-oriented the artist or artists, the more pages the booklet will contain. Online printing has several advantages over traditional printing, including experts with special knowledge of the right inks and materials to use for every custom printing job. For bold, beautiful colors and a flawless finish, having the right online printing company to print the booklet for your CD is a must.
A reputable online printing company (like 4over4.com) will have a user friendly website available to clients 24/7 to browse various printing options, as well as base pricing information. Live chat, phone and email contact information should be easily located, and consultants will be readily available to answer questions and assist in placing an order. Online printing companies like 4over4.com also have an advantage over traditional publishers in that their lower overhead expenses means lower costs to the client, at often a much better quality. Professional online printers will ensure that the finished product is carefully packaged, and shipped directly to the client by the deadline. No hassle with meetings or travel time; samples can be ordered and proofs are emailed, so record label execs can complete the entire process from the office, home, or even the studio.
In the ever moving music industry, every minute counts just as much as producing a quality product. Record labels that know the secrets to getting the highest quality without leaving the office know that using the right custom printing company is no small detail, nor is having the booklets ready and delivered in time to deliver upcoming releases to retailers. Having a reputable online company printing your CD booklets is the best way to ensure the finished product truly reflects the album, and arrives on time to hit the shelves.

Since the bleed extends 1/8" all around the card, your document set-up should be 1/4" taller (1/8" on top and 1/8" on the bottom) and 1/4" wider (1/8" on the left and 1/8" on the right) than the finished size of the card. The chart below indicates what the document set-up should be for a particular finished size.
Be aware that text or images too close to the TRIM LINE (shown in SOLID PINK) will be cut off. Make sure that your background image extends 1/8" past the TRIM LINE.
In the above illustration, the background image needs to extend to the BLUE LINE. Be sure to extend the background image to bleed or the white of the paper may show in the final cut down product. The chart above indicates what the document set-up should be for a particular finished size

Great quality
"I honestly didn't know what to expect as this was my first time ordering products, but wow the quality surprised me as soon as I opened the box. The print came out perfectly, no blank edges or cut designs, and the paper felt great. I am very pleased, I didn't expect to be coming back to this website, but I will definitely be buying future CD covers from 4over4."

Pleased
"I ordered 500 CD covers and I am very pleased with the resulting product. The online ordering process is easy to follow. I was able to select from the four sizes available. There is only one paper type to choose from but that is okay. The cardstock is firm and the overall impression of the cards is professional. A very nice product."
