4th of July Celebrated Through Graphic Design
The 4th of July is around the corner and we are all getting into the red, white and blue spirit! Barbecues across the country are clean and ready to be used, while expectations for stunning fireworks keep rising. Most of us will probably spend the day with our friends and family celebrating the patriotic date. But the most creative and talented patriots are already paying a tribute to “the Land of the Free.”
As we usually do for important dates, we decided to browse around the internet for the best independence day designs. And not surprisingly, we found lots of them! Graphic design is one of the most enjoyable forms of expression, leaving us with fantastic pieces to admire. Take a look at these worth sharing creations that will surely make you proud to be an American:
Poster by Giannina Rutherford
Gianina decided to spread the love and share this refreshing poster for the 4th of July. It belongs to the PA 4th Fest, and the design certainly conveys a sense of fun times and celebration.

It would not be a legitimate celebration if social media didn’t join in. After all, they have become a natural environment to express ourselves. This Facebook cover is a perfect example of what we’re likely to see a lot this weekend. A beautiful design that evokes our nationalistic feelings.

This is only one of the several striking illustrations Aurelia Manouvrier has shared on her Behance.net gallery. Displaying a great use of iconic elements that need no further explanation.

Let’s not forget about the power of digital photography as part of our independence day graphic design. As you can see, simplicity can make great statements too.

The greatest thing about fan art and theme illustrations is that each person has a particular style to portrait their thoughts.

OK, not exactly an illustration, but we have to give some credit to the art of photo composition. Plus, how could we possibly leave the eagle out of a 4th of July tribute?

Remember when we said barbecues across the country were ready to be used? Well, it seems we fell a bit short.

Of course, no patriotic gallery would be complete without Captain America! At least not to us.
