A graduation is one fixed day on a calendar full of other plans, and the relatives who need to book a flight or take time off want that date early. You send the card, they mark the day, and the formal invitation follows once every detail is set. The relatives who have to book a flight fit in a set of 25. ### Print more, pay less per card 41 quantity tiers, 25 to 100,000 cards - Quantity: 100 cards - Per card: 42.8¢ - Box total: $42.84 - You save: 0% 42.8¢ per card at 100, 2.26¢ at 100,000 ### What Is a Graduation Save the Date Card Graduation save the date cards are small announcement cards, printed full color, for guests who need the date early: out-of-town family, busy relatives, and friends who plan travel weeks ahead. For any other event, see the [Save the Date Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/save-the-date-cards). ### What Size Should a Graduation Save the Date Be Pick the size by what goes beside the date. A 4.25" x 5.5" card is postcard-sized, easy to mail and easy to pin to a fridge. A 5" x 7" gives you room for a photo of the graduate alongside the date. A 6" x 6" square reads almost like a tiny poster and stands out in the mail. For a folded format with more room inside, the [Folded Invitations](https://www.4over4.com/product/folded-invitations) open up a second panel. ### Graduation Save the Date Cards , Configured Your Way 6 option groups, 32 choices, defaults: 14pt Gloss Cover, 4/0: 4 Color Front; Blank Back, Standard Finish The stock, the mailing and the design are the three choices left. #### Pick a stock that suits the graduate The default 14pt Gloss Cover keeps it clean and affordable. A 14pt or 18pt white linen adds a textured, stationery feel you can read with your fingertips, an 18pt kraft uncoated reads natural and recycled, and the metallic pearl stocks in ice, champagne, silver and gold catch the light, right up to a 26pt weight. A High-Gloss UV Coating makes a photo or a school color shine. #### Send it ready to mail Add the optional matching white wove envelopes and the set arrives ready to address. Optional rounded corners at a 1/8" or 3/8" radius give a softer, keepsake edge, and optional bundling packs the cards in tidy stacks. Choose a free online proof to check your file on screen, or a next-day hardcopy proof to hold the real thing before the full run. #### Design it without a designer Start from a free layout in our [invitation design templates](https://www.4over4.com/design-templates/flat-invitations) and change the colors, copy and photo in the online editor. Set the graduation date large on the front and the name and a short note on the back, since the full details wait for the invitation. The [blank save the date template](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/graduation-save-the-date-cards) comes in all three sizes with the bleed and safe margin marked. Set the date inside the margin, where a large numeral will not lose a digit at the trim. ## Wally clears the calendar before graduation Why a stack of save the dates fills more seats. 25 graduation save the date cards cost $19.77 and lock in the date before invitations go out, so family can book travel early. Keep it to the graduate's name, the date and the city, plus a line saying the full invitation follows. The card exists so relatives can book a flight or request time off, and the details that are not settled yet can wait for the invitation. ### How far ahead should I send them? As soon as the ceremony date is fixed, and long before the formal invitation. With 3 business days of standard production, the school's date confirmation usually sets the mailing date, not print time. ### Which size makes the card stand out in a stack of mail? The 6 inch by 6 inch square, since almost nothing else arriving that day is square. Questions about Graduation Save the Date Cards? [See answers](https://www.4over4.com/help/invitations)
