It starts as a flat printed sheet, gets a clean score down the middle, and folds into a card with a front, an inside for your message, and a back. Announce the big day, invite people to the party, or write a proud congratulations, and a folded card puts your words on a fridge instead of getting swiped away. Print a cap-and-gown photo on the cover, a printed note inside, and leave room to sign by hand. A family mailing to grandparents, aunts and teachers fits in a set of 50. ### Print more, pay less per card 40 quantity tiers, 50 to 100,000 cards - Quantity: 100 cards - Per card: 78.0¢ - Box total: $77.99 - You save: 0% 78.0¢ per card at 100, 4.47¢ at 100,000 ### What Are Graduation Greeting Cards Graduation greeting cards are folded cards printed full color for graduation announcements, party invitations, congratulations cards, and thank-you notes for gifts, because a folded card gives room for a photo, a printed message, and a handwritten line all at once. For birthdays, weddings and other occasions, the general [Greeting Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/greeting-card-printing) use the same folded format. ### What Size Should a Graduation Card Be Pick the size by the photo and the message it has to hold. The 8.5" x 5.5" sheet folds to a tidy 4.25" x 5.5" card, the size for an announcement or a short note. The 10" x 7" folds to a 5" x 7" card, a bigger canvas with room for a full cap-and-gown photo, a longer message, or a bolder cover. For a more textured, premium feel on the same folded card, the [Velvet Greeting Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/velvet-greeting-cards) are another way to go. ### Graduation Greeting Cards , Configured Your Way 6 option groups, 28 choices, defaults: 14pt Gloss Cover, 4/0: 4 Color Front; Blank Back, Standard Finish - 6 groups: 28 total The stock, the envelopes and the design are the three choices left. #### Pick a stock that fits the moment A heavier stock gives the card real presence in the hand. Keep it bright on 14pt or 16pt gloss cover, go natural and writable on an uncoated or recycled stock, or reach for a metallic pearl in ice, champagne, silver or gold when you want the card to catch the light like a celebration. The 16pt soft touch reads velvety and the 14pt and 18pt white linen add texture you can feel. Finish it Standard, or add a High Gloss UV Coating to make a photo or a foil-look design shine. #### Add envelopes if you mail it If the cards travel, add the optional White Wove A2 envelopes on the same order and they arrive in one box with the cards, ready to address. For a school or class run, optional bundling packs the cards in stacks. #### Design it without a designer Start from a layout in our [greeting card design templates](https://www.4over4.com/design-templates/greeting-cards) and change the colors, copy, name and photo in the online editor. Put the cap-and-gown photo and the school colors on the cover, and keep the inside for the date and a warm line. A folded card has four panels on one flat sheet, and the [blank graduation greeting card template](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/graduation-greeting-cards) lays that sheet out at full size with the bleed and safe margin marked. Keep the grad's name off the center line so the fold never cuts through it. ### Press-Ready Blank Templates 1 blank layout, at 8.5" x 5.5" fold to 4.25" x 5.5", with the cut and safe margins marked - [Save The Date Cards 8.5" x 5.5" fold to 4.25" x 5.5" · from $56.02 for 50](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-cards) [Browse more](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-cards) ### How Much Do Graduation Greeting Cards Cost Graduation greeting cards start at $56.02 for 50, about $1.12 a card, and fall toward $0.04 a card at 100,000. The front prints full color, which is what a cap and gown portrait needs. Use a high resolution file at the finished card size, and keep faces away from the trim edge so nothing important sits in the cut area. ### Is there room to sign the card by hand? Yes, if you leave the inside blank or print only part of it. Uncoated, cream and recycled stocks among the 17 options take pen ink well. Skip the High Gloss UV Coating on any surface you plan to write on. Questions about Graduation Greeting Cards? [See answers](https://www.4over4.com/help/greeting-cards)
