## A Folded Card That Marks the Milestone

At thirteen, a young person reads from the Torah and steps into an adult role in the community, and the card that carries your mazel tov should feel like that moment. These cards are scored down the middle so they open like a real card, and one design can serve as the invitation, the mazel tov and the thank-you. For a flat note after the party, the [bar bat mitzvah thank you cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/bar-bat-mitzvah-thank-you-cards) match the look; plain, velvet and save-the-date cards live on [greeting cards printing](https://www.4over4.com/greeting-cards-printing).

Fifty cards cover immediate family; inviting the whole congregation lowers the price per card at every step.

### What Are Bar and Bat Mitzvah Greeting Cards

They are folded cards for the coming-of-age milestone, part of our [bar and bat mitzvah](https://www.4over4.com/bar-bat-mitzvah-printing-collection) range. Because the card opens, there is room inside for a Hebrew name, the Torah portion, a date, a short blessing or a photo. For an everyday folded card, see the [Greeting Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/greeting-card-printing).

### What Size Should the Card Be

The smaller card folds to 4.25" x 5.5", the classic note size that fits the optional A2 envelope. The larger folds to 5" x 7", with room for a date, a venue and a photo when the card doubles as an invitation; it needs a larger envelope bought separately, since the A2 only fits the small card. Both come scored, and you choose whether they arrive folded or flat for hand assembly. Those two are the only sizes offered.

#### Pick a stock that suits the celebration

Metallic pearl in ice, champagne, silver or gold catches the light like foil without the foil price. White linen and soft touch read refined and tactile, a 100# silk matte keeps a photo soft and clean, and the default 14pt Gloss Cover with a High Gloss UV Coating makes a color photo snap. For a plusher headline card, the [Velvet Greeting Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/velvet-greeting-cards) go further.

#### Plan the envelopes and the mailing

Add the White Wove A2 envelopes for the small size and the cards are ready to mail when they arrive. Sending a save-the-date ahead of the invitation? The [Save the Date Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/save-the-date-cards) handle that first mailing.

#### Design it without a designer

Start from a layout in our [greeting card design templates](https://www.4over4.com/design-templates/greeting-cards) and plan all the panels: the teen's name on the front, the Hebrew name, date and blessing inside, and the venue or RSVP on the back.

Built your own art? The [blank bar and bat mitzvah card template](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/bar-bat-mitzvah-greeting-cards) is drawn at the flat size with the fold line, the 1/8" bleed and the safe margin, so nothing important sits on the crease.

## Wally makes the mazel tov feel handmade

Why a folded card at $56.02 for 50 beats a store-bought one.

A bar or bat mitzvah card folds clean, and the optional A2 envelopes make it look personal, not printed. Pick a size, choose a stock, set your speed, and Wally gets them ready before the celebration.

## Bar Bat Mitzvah Greeting Cards: Frequently Asked Questions

### Should the cards arrive folded or flat?

Folded saves an evening of work before a large mailing. Flat and scored suits a card you want to insert something into, such as a reply card, before you fold it yourself.

### What goes inside a bar or bat mitzvah card?

The Hebrew name, the date and the Torah portion, with a short blessing or the event details. Print the inside in full color, or leave it blank for a handwritten mazel tov.
