## Send a Thank-You the Baptism Deserves

The candle is out, the white gown is folded away, and the people who stood with your family that morning are waiting for a word back. A card with a photo from the christening, on a stock that feels like a keepsake, is how you give it. For a thank-you after any other occasion, see our [custom thank you cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/custom-thank-you-cards), or every option on [thank you cards printing](https://www.4over4.com/thank-you-cards-printing).

Godparents and close family fit in a set of 25; a long guest list lowers the price per card at every step.

### What Are Baptism Thank You Cards

They are thank-you notes for gifts, for travel and for standing as godparents, often with a photo on the front and a handwritten message on the back. For a card that opens to inside panels, the [Folded Thank You Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/folded-thank-you-cards) give you the room.

## Baptism Thank You Card Designs and Templates

- Photo card. One image from the font or the church steps across the front, with the name and the date small underneath and the message on the back.
- Cross and dove motif. A single line drawn cross, dove or shell in one color on a light stock, for families who would rather not send the child's face to a long guest list.
- Minimal script. The name in a calligraphic script and the date beneath it, set on cream or uncoated so the letterforms stay soft.
- Watercolor floral. A washed border of greenery around an open center, with room to write a note by hand inside it.
- Kraft. Artwork printed straight onto the brown sheet; ink reads warmer and darker there, so keep type bold and skip pale colors.

### What Size Should a Baptism Thank You Card Be

The 4.25" x 5.5" is the classic thank-you size and quick to write. The 5" x 7" carries a full baptism photo and a longer note, and the 6" x 6" square stands out as a keepsake. For other occasions, the [Flat Thank You Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/flat-thank-you-cards) use the same format.

### Baptism Thank You Cards , Configured Your Way

6 option groups, 40 choices, defaults: 14pt Gloss Cover, 4/0: 4 Color Front; Blank Back, Standard Finish

#### Pick a stock that feels like a keepsake

Premium linen reads formal the moment the card leaves the envelope. Cream and uncoated take a fountain pen or a ballpoint without smearing, which matters if you sign every card by hand; a coated, pearl or UV-coated surface resists ink. Metallic pearl shifts in the light as the card turns, which suits a photo front, and the default 14pt Gloss Cover keeps photos crisp and the price low.

#### Design it without a designer

Start from a layout in our [thank you card design templates](https://www.4over4.com/design-templates/thank-you-cards), then change the colors, photo and message in the online editor.

Working with a designer? The [blank baptism thank you card template](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/baptism-thank-you-cards) carries the trim, the 1/8" bleed and the safe area for your size, so a photo never crowds the cut.

## Wally sends the thank-you the day deserves

Why a $19.77 set of 25 keepsake cards closes the celebration right.

Full color puts the christening photo, the child's name, and the date on heavy keepsake stock. Add a matching envelope, pick a size, set your speed, and Wally gets them in the mail fast.

### Baptism Thank You Cards Price By Quantity

25 for $19.77 ( 79.1¢ each) up to 400 for $69.20 ( 17.3¢ each)

- $19.77 79.1¢ per unit, 25 25 units 400, Up to 78% less per unit at 400

### Can You Add Envelopes and Rounded Corners

Yes, both are options. The matching white wove envelopes ship with the cards, ready to hand-address; for printed envelopes, order those separately instead of the blank ones. Rounded corners at a 1/8" or 3/8" radius soften the card into a gentler shape. Pick a free online proof or a next-day hardcopy proof to see the file before it runs.

## What to Write in a Baptism Thank You Card

Keep it to two or three sentences: name the person, name what they did, and say the child's name. Change the names and cut anything that does not sound like you.

- Religious wording: "Thank you for standing with us as Mateo was baptized. Your prayers mean more to our family than we can put on a card."
- For godparents: "Thank you for saying yes. Standing as Ava's godmother is a promise we will not forget, and neither will she."
- When a gift was given: "Thank you for the silver cross. It is already hanging above Leo's crib, and it will be his to keep."
- For guests who traveled: "Having you here from so far away made the whole day. Thank you for the effort it took to come."
