The card that carries that moment calls godparents and relatives to the service, announces the name and the date, or follows as a thank-you and a keepsake favor, and on a pearl or linen stock it ends up in an album instead of a drawer. Communion, thank-you and announcement cards share [greeting cards printing](https://www.4over4.com/greeting-cards-printing) with this one. A set of 50 covers close family and godparents; for a parish mailing or a large family, the price per card drops at each step. ### Print more, pay less per card 40 quantity tiers, 50 to 100,000 cards - Quantity: 100 cards - Per card: 24.2¢ - Box total: $24.16 - You save: 0% 24.2¢ per card at 100, 1.72¢ at 100,000 ### What Are Baptism Cards They are flat, full-color cards for a christening: invitations, birth and baptism announcements, thank-you notes, keepsake favors, place cards and prayer or program cards for the service, all sharing one design across the sizes. For a First Communion, the [Communion Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/communion-cards) carry the same idea, and the [Gender Reveal Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/gender-reveal-cards) cover the announcement that often comes first. ### What Size Should a Baptism Card Be A 2.5" x 2.5" square is a keepsake or a favor tag that tucks into a gift bag, a Bible or a frame. A 3" x 3" or 4" x 4" gives an announcement room for a photo and the child's name. A 3" x 4" or a card up to 6" x 11" reads like a full invitation, with space for the church, the time, a map and an RSVP line. ### Baptism Cards , Configured Your Way 6 option groups, 34 choices, defaults: 14pt Gloss Cover, 4/0: 4 Color Front; Blank Back, Standard Finish #### Pick a stock that feels like a keepsake White linen reads soft and classic under the fingertips, cream uncoated warms a traditional design, and metallic pearl in gold, silver, champagne or ice catches the light without the cost of foil; StarLustre platinum is the brightest shimmer. The default 14pt Gloss Cover keeps a photo card crisp, and the 30% and 100% post-consumer stocks are there if that matters to the family. #### Design it without a designer Start from a free layout in the design library below and change the colors, copy and photo in the online editor; a soft border, one script line and one photo is enough for a christening card. Built your own art? The blank template below is drawn at the real trim with the 1/8" bleed and the safe margin marked. ### Press-Ready Blank Templates 1 blank layout, at 2.5" x 2.5", with the cut and safe margins marked - [01 Save The Date Cards 2.5" x 2.5" · from $16.48 for 50](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-cards) [Browse more](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-cards) ### How Much Do Baptism Cards Cost An 800-card run costs $73.60, about 9 cents each, and 7,000 cards cost $176.61, close to 2.5 cents each. The slider below covers the first six tiers, from 50 to 500. ## Wally makes the christening card feel like a keepsake Why a $16.48 set of 50 baptism cards gets saved, not tossed. On a metallic pearl or linen stock, baptism cards read like a keepsake families hold onto. Use them as invitations, announcements, thank-you notes or place cards. Pick a size, set your speed, and Wally gets them in hand fast. ### Baptism Cards Price By Quantity 50 for $16.48 ( 33.0¢ each) up to 500 for $51.62 ( 10.3¢ each) - $16.48 33.0¢ per unit, 50 50 units 500, Up to 69% less per unit at 500 ### Can You Print a Name on Each Card Yes. Turn on variable data and each card in one run carries its own guest name or table number, so a baptism card becomes a named place card, a keepsake favor with a real recipient or an invitation addressed to each family. For a coming-of-age card in the same spirit, the [Bar Bat Mitzvah Greeting Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/bar-bat-mitzvah-greeting-cards) follow the same build. ### What to Write on a Baptism Card Keep it short and about the child. A card for a baby is written to the child but read by the parents, so open with the child's name, add one line of blessing or welcome, and sign it from your family; a godparent's line about the promise they are making carries more than a long verse. An invitation needs the child's full name, the church, the date and time, and where the family gathers afterward, with the RSVP on the back. An announcement needs the name, the date and a photo, and a keepsake needs only the name and the date. ### How Do Baptism Cards Compare to the Rest of the Range The comparison below puts them beside response cards, Christmas cards and greeting cards with the starting price of each. ### The smart pick in greeting cards Baptism Cards beside Response Cards, Custom Christmas Cards, Greeting Cards, out of 42 greeting cards styles - Lowest entry price in the category, $16.48, [Baptism Cards](https://www.4over4.com/product/baptism-cards), and 2 more at this price, the cheapest way into the category - Most-reviewed style in the category, 103 reviews, Save the Date Cards, the category's top-reviewed pick at 4.9★ #### Baptism Cards - Min price $16.48, Paper / stock 14pt Gloss Cover, Finish Standard Finish, Default qty 50, Turnaround 3 business days, Rating ★ 4.8 (23) #### Response Cards - Min price $19.77, Paper / stock 14pt Gloss Cover, Finish Standard Finish, Default qty 25, Turnaround 3 business days, Rating ★ 4.9 (63) #### Custom Christmas Cards - Min price $31.86, Paper / stock 14pt Gloss Cover, Finish Standard Finish, Default qty 25, Turnaround 5 business days, Rating ★ 4.7 (21) #### Greeting Cards - Min price $56.02, Paper / stock 14pt Gloss Cover, Finish Standard Finish, Default qty 50, Turnaround 5 business days, Rating ★ 4.9 (93) ### Real Greeting Cards Our Customers Printed 8 customer prints from the greeting cards styles and finishes gallery [Browse more showcase](https://www.4over4.com/showcase/custom-greeting-card-printing-options-and-design-ideas) ### How Fast Can You Get Baptism Cards Standard production is 3 business days, and each faster speed, down to Same-Day, adds a set percentage on top of the base price. Buy envelopes that fit your card size separately, and hand out the smaller keepsake sizes rather than mailing them. ### Do you write a baptism card to the parents or the baby? Write it to the child, since the card is kept for them, and address the envelope to the parents, who read it on the day. A line of thanks or congratulations to the parents can go at the end. ### Can the card fold? No, these print flat with no scoring. For a card with an inside page, look at the folded greeting cards in the range. Questions about Baptism Cards? [See answers](https://www.4over4.com/help/greeting-cards)
