It grips any steel surface, from a vehicle panel to a fridge or a filing cabinet, then lifts off without leaving a mark, so one printed piece does the work of a sign you would otherwise bolt or glue in place. A larger size or a rush turnaround moves the total, and the configurator prices each change before you order. Every order also earns 4OVER4 loyalty coins you can apply at checkout for up to 13 percent off the cost. ### What Are Acrylic Magnets Acrylic magnets are custom-printed magnetic signs. They fit the jobs where a permanent sign would be overkill: removable vehicle door signs, storefront and door signage, equipment labels, [promotional branding](https://www.4over4.com/guide/promotional-branding-a-practical-guide) pieces, and temporary displays. For a magnet built to ride on a vehicle full time, see the [Car Magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/car-magnets); the everyday [Magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/magnets) handle smaller general-purpose jobs. ### What Size Should an Acrylic Magnet Be The right size depends on where the magnet goes and how far it needs to read. A 9" x 9" square is the default, compact enough for a door panel or an equipment label. Step up through sizes like 9" x 12", 9" x 18", and 9" x 24" when you want a taller banner shape, and go all the way to a 24" x 36" panel for a full vehicle door or a large surface sign. ### Acrylic Magnets , Configured Your Way 2 option groups, 4 choices For artwork you build yourself, the [blank acrylic magnet template](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/acrylic-magnets) shows the bleed and the safe margin, which matters most if you round the corners. ### Press-Ready Blank Templates 1 blank layout, at 9" x 9", with the cut and safe margins marked - [Save The Date Magnets From $47.50 for 2](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-magnets) [Browse more](https://www.4over4.com/blank-templates/save-the-date-magnets) ### Magnet strength and where each size works Every size prints on the same stock and coating, so the finish does not change as the panel gets bigger. Hold comes from contact area, not from a thicker sheet: a larger panel has more magnet touching the steel, and the thing that costs you grip is a gap between the magnet and the metal, such as a rivet line, a raised seam, a decal edge or a coat of dirt. Wipe the surface and lay the panel down from one edge so no air is trapped under it. On the larger panels, the rounded corner is worth taking, since a square corner is the first edge a passing sleeve or cart catches. | Shape | Orientation | Typical use | | --- | --- | --- | | 9" x 9", the smallest set size | Square | Fridge, filing cabinet, tool chest, a notice by a doorway | | Mid-range rectangle | Portrait | Hours, price list or a menu board on a steel door | | Mid-range rectangle | Landscape | Company name and phone on a van panel or a service counter | | Large panel up to 24" x 36" | Portrait or landscape | Full sign work on a roller shutter, a loading door or a trailer side | A set of panels for a fleet or a chain of doors prints together on one order. Print-ready files upload as PDF, JPG, or PNG. ### How Do Acrylic Magnets Compare to Other Magnets Pick acrylic magnets for a glossy, sign-sized magnet you can move at will. The comparison below puts them beside business card, reflective and dry erase magnets with the starting price of each; for a keepsake on the fridge, see the [Save the Date Magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/save-the-date-magnets). ## Wally makes a sign you can move Why a $47.50 printed magnet beats a sign you have to bolt down. Two 9 by 9 inch acrylic magnets cost $47.50, prints on tough 30mil magnet stock with a Hi-Gloss UV shine, and grips any steel surface then peels off clean. Use it as a removable vehicle sign, a door display, or a reusable label. Pick a size, set your speed, and Wally ships it fast. ### The smart pick in magnets Acrylic Magnets beside Business Card Magnets, Reflective Magnets, Dry Erase Magnets, out of 9 magnets styles - Lowest entry price in the category, $19.68, [Business Card Magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/business-card-magnets), and 3 more at this price, the cheapest way into the category - Most-reviewed style in the category, 98 reviews, Save the Date Magnets, the category's top-reviewed pick at 4.9★ | | Acrylic Magnets | Business Card Magnets | Reflective Magnets | Dry Erase Magnets | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Min price | $47.50 | $19.68 | $29.00 | $33.99 | | Paper / stock | 30mil Magnet | 17pt Indoor Magnet | 30mil Magnet | 30mil Magnet | | Finish | Hi Gloss UV Coating | UV Coating | Reflective Film | Dry Erase Lamination | | Default qty | 2 | 25 | 1 | 1 | | Turnaround | 4 business days | 5 business days | 4 business days | 4 business days | | Rating | ★ 4.9 (18) | ★ 4.9 (66) | ★ 4.9 (60) | ★ 5.0 (61) | ### Acrylic magnets vs car magnets vs business card magnets Three different jobs, three different products, all of them magnet backed. | Product | Size range | Finish | Typical use | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Acrylic magnets | 9" x 9" up to 24" x 36" | 30mil magnet stock with a Hi-Gloss UV Coating | A rigid, bright sign you move between steel doors, cabinets and vehicle panels | | [Car magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/car-magnets) | Vehicle door sizes | Magnet stock built for a vehicle panel | Company name and number on a van or car door, taken off when the vehicle is off duty | | [Business card magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/business-card-magnets) | Pocket and wallet sizes | Printed magnet card | Handouts that end up on a customer's fridge with your number on them | If none of the three is the right shape, the full [magnets](https://www.4over4.com/product/magnets) range covers the rest of the sizes and stocks. ### How Fast Can You Get Acrylic Magnets Standard production for acrylic magnets is 4 business days, and when a date sneaks up you can move that to 3-day, 2-day, next-day, or even same-day printing. Take it off a vehicle before a car wash and wipe both the panel and the magnet back now and then, so grit does not get trapped between them. ### Can I order a single magnet? No, two is the smallest order, so a pair can go on both doors of one vehicle or on two entrances. Questions about Acrylic Magnets? [See answers](https://www.4over4.com/help/magnets)
