# What design issues commonly prevent files from being approved for printing?

A few common file problems can block a print file from approval. Most involve artwork that runs off the print area or does not match the ordered quantity. Content extends beyond the intended print area and gets cut off. Borders or design elements are not clearly inside the print area versus the white margin. The number of design sets does not match the quantity ordered. Missing bleed or low-resolution images. Fixing these before you submit saves a round of corrections.

Files get blocked when content runs past the print area, borders blur into the margin, design sets do not match the quantity, or bleed is missing.
