# How should I specify my booklet dimensions and binding?

Always order to the finished (folded) size, meaning the dimensions of the booklet when it is closed and ready to hand out. Saddle-stitched booklets are built from folded sheets, so the way you plan your page count matters. Give the finished, closed size you want, not the flat spread size. Count every page including the front and back covers when you plan your total. Keep the total page count in multiples of 4, since each folded sheet adds four pages.
