# How much time do I need to leave my Car Magnets on before driving?

Only when you first apply them. Let a new car magnet sit on the vehicle overnight before driving so it can settle and grip fully. Allow the magnet to set on the panel overnight on its first application. This one-time wait helps it seat evenly against the metal. After that initial set, you can take it on and off as needed. Always apply to a clean, dry, magnet-receptive surface for the strongest hold.

Leave a new car magnet on overnight before its first drive so it seats evenly against the metal, after which you can take it on and off whenever needed.
